




Imagine that you are a small business owner. Now imagine that you wake up in the morning, get dressed, and go downstairs for breakfast. Then, you go down another set of stairs and your morning commute is done. After descending just two flights of stairs, you have arrived at your office. That is the beauty of live/work space, and that is what this project offers. It also offers the small business owner the chance to own his or her workspace, rather than doing the traditional lease.
In 2009, Bridgecity Inc. will break ground on a mixed use project that includes 8 commercial condos and 8 residential condos. Commercial space may be either purchased or leased, and this may be done separately or in conjunction with the residential units above.
The vision for this development arises out of a philosophy that seeks to make sustainable and energy-efficient live/work space available at an affordable price so that local small businesses can more easily thrive. The result of this effort is that neighborhoods and local economy will improve as local businesses can build an asset base through property ownership.
